Bell Tuning Turbo Kits

The BTP Turbo System has various power levels it can achieve. The power it can run is totally dependent upon the engine management system you choose. The BTP Turbo System can be purchased with or without engine management. Chances are we have you covered though. Running 5-6 psi will produce about 150 whp using a BTP FPR. Running 8 psi can net power levels of 170 to 190 rwhp when using the BTP Fuel System and Bipes ACU (90-97 only). If you choose to use a standalone ECU or Xede, power levels can be in the 200 to 230 whp range. If you are using this system on a 99-05 Miata, we strongly recommend the use of the Xede. The 99-05 Miata must have some form of ignition timing control in order to avoid breaking the motor. We have seen some Miatas running more than 250 whp with the GT2554 turbo, but it requires the use of a standalone ECU and race gas. If you choose one of the larger turbos and use the Xede or MegaSquirt, power levels of 180 to 250 whp can be achieved at higher boost levels.
